SPECIAL NOTICE

**All athletes who competed at the 2016 California State DanceSport Championships have qualified to compete at 2017 Nationals in the same partnership and in the same event(s) in which they participated at this NQE. The 65% rule is not applicable to the NorCal NQE. The list above includes this qualification.

**All athletes who compete in the Senior IV National Championships at the 2017 Mid-Atlantic NQE have qualified to compete in the Senior III event in the same style and proficiency level at 2017 Nationals. The list above includes this qualification.

NOTES ON QUALIFICATION LIST:

  • If your name is not on this list, you have either not qualified in any events or you registered without a valid USA Dance Membership.
  • This list is current as of Mid-Atlantic Championships (Feb 19, 2017).
  • If you qualified with a second partner in a particular event, that will not appear on this list.
  • This list only shows exact events (age, skill) danced. It does not show if you qualify to age-up due to rule 4.3.6.3.6

For any of the above issues, you need to contact registrar@usadancenationals.com to have this list updated.

Please read the newest version of the rulebook carefully and comply with the rules when registering (e.g., determining which proficiency level and age level events you are eligible to dance), preparing for the comp (e.g., conforming with the updated dress code), competing (e.g., allowed or disallowed steps), and afterwards (e.g., interpreting your scores; tracking any proficiency points you earn).
